On Saturday, September 29th hundreds of graduates from the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, along with their families, friends, supporters, doctors and nurses will gather at SeaWorld® Orlando for Walk For Winnie presented by Panera Bread®. Last year, the fundraising walk raised more than $225,000 for the Alexander Center for Neonatology at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer. Because of Walk for Winnie, the NICU at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer is able to provide care for more than 1,800 premature and critically-ill babies each year. It is the largest NICU under one roof in the world and one of the busiest in the country. Thanks to your support, we remain equipped to provide the highest-level of care for high-risk newborns, including babies born prematurely or with congenital heart disease, infections, and various other conditions.
