Team Emma and Grace
On June 19, 2017, Emma and Grace were born at just 33.1 weeks. Emma weighing 4.6LB and Grace weighing 4.8LB. Hard to believe they are over 25 pounds now and are over two years old. Time continues to fly while watching these two tiny miracles grow. We are so eternally and immensely grateful for the care they received at Winnie Palmer Hospital. They spent almost 3 weeks at the NICU, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. While our girls were there, we were astonished by all the care that some of these tiny miracles entail. So, we have made it a family pact to ensure Team Emma and Grace participates every year in Walk for Winnie. This will be our third year participating. We would love some of you to come back and join our team, and those of you that haven't please consider joining this fun event, all for a wonderful cause.
Whether you walk with us or donate or both....we THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
For more than 40 years, the Alexander Center for Neonatology at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies (NICU)has been a leader in the fight to save the tiniest of patients. Every day, skilled physicians and nurses at our NICU provide the highest level of life-saving care for critically ill newborns, with one ultimate goal in mind: to help these babies thrive and beat the odds.
Through Walk For Winnie, we will be able to provide funding for the care and treatment of the sickest of babies. Please join me in the fight by raising funds to support the miracles born in the NICU every single day!
